Shares of LCA-Vision (NASDAQ:LCAV) slipped Monday after the company said it conducted fewer laser eye surgeries in the third-quarter.

Lasik procedures performed in the fiscal 2010 quarter were 11,497 at 62 centers, down 25% from 15,335 at 71 centers in the same quarter last year.

At comparable stores, procedures were down 18% from the fiscal 2009 quarter of 14,068.

Official third-quarter results will be released on Oct. 26.
