Analysts International (NASDAQ:ANLY) said Thursday that its chief executive Andrew Borgstrom resigned on Sept. 28 to devote more time to his mergers and acquisition advisory company, RapiDemand.

Under a separate deal, Borgstrom will be available to assist the company with ongoing business initiatives through January 31.

Meanwhile, the provider of information technology services named Brittany McKinney as interim CEO.

McKinney, 39, joined the company three years ago and currently serves as senior vice president of its central region and solutions practices.

The interim chief executive has nearly 15 years experience in the IT services industry and will use her backing of driving growth and delivering financial results to contribute to AIC as it continues its turnaround.

“Under Brittany’s leadership we will continue to focus on execution, driving top line growth and improving profitability and cash flow,” said AIC’s Chairman Doug Neve. “Brittany has been a key driver in executing AIC’s strategy over the past three years and we are confident she will serve the business well in this new role.”

The company remains “firmly committed” to growing its core IT staffing business and said it does not expect the transition to impact the execution of its strategic plan.
