Stock futures were pointing to a slightly lower opening on a quiet morning as gold continues to reach record highs and place increased pressure on the U.S. dollar.

The Chinese concrete producer released fourth-quarter results reporting earnings of 30 cents per share on revenue of $30.9 million. Analysts had estimated earnings of 28 cents per share and revenue of $27.1 million. Shares gained 11.7% in pre-market trading.
Thor Industries Inc (NYSE: THO)
The manufacturer of recreational vehicles and buses posted fourth-quarter results late Tuesday beating estimates reporting earnings of 78 cents per share on revenue of $663.8 million. Analysts had estimated earnings of 63 cents per share and revenue of $664 million. Shares were up 4.2% in pre-market Wednesday trading on the beat.
Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (NASDAQ: GMCR)
Shares fell 13.5% in pre-market trading after the company said it was under investigation by the SEC for revenue recognition practices and relationship with a vendor.
Sealy Corp (NYSE: ZZ)
Shares of the bedding products company fell 11.5% in pre-market trading Wednesday after posting third-quarter results late Tuesday which came in below analyst estimates. The company reported a earnings excluding items of four cents per share while analysts had been expecting earnings of five cents per share.
Standard Microsystems Corp (NASDAQ: SMSC)
The systems provider beat second quarter expectations reporting non-GAAP earnings of 51 cents per share late Tuesday. While this was above Street expectations of 46 cents per share, the company lowered its third quarter guidance below current estimates sending shares down 7.7% in pre-market trading Wednesday.
Chelsea Therapeutics International Ltd. (NASDAQ: CHTP)
The biopharmaceutical company announced it plans to sell $35 million in common shares in a common offering. Existing shares slipped 5.5% in pre-market trading.
