Stock futures extended their gains following the release of a better-than-expected initial jobless claims number of 451,000.

Here are some of the early market-movers for Thursday.

 

Microvision (NASDAQ:MVIS)

Shares of the miniature display manufacturer gained 7.3% in pre-market trading after analysts at Stifel Nicolaus initiated coverage with a “buy” rating.

 

ARM Holdings (NASDAQ: ARMH)

The microprocessor manufacturer unveiled its new Cortex-a15 MPCore processor said to deliver five times the performance of existing smart phone processors. The company also announced that Texas Instruments is the first licensee of the new processor. Shares were up 4.3% in pre-market trading.

 

Fuqi International Inc (NASDAQ:FUQI)

Shares of the Chinese jewelry company fell 23.4% in pre-market trading after the company announced it had been notified by the SEC of a formal investigation of its failure to file timely periodic reports and other issues.

 

AeroVironment Inc (NASDAQ:AVAV)

Despite posting a smaller first-quarter loss than expected, shares of the unmanned aircraft manufacturer slipped 9.6% in pre-market trading Thursday. The company reported a loss of 16 cents per share while analysts had estimated a loss of 23 cents but management cut their operating income margin guidance for the full year.

 

Shuffle Master Inc (NASDAQ:SHFL)

The gaming equipment manufacturer posted third-quarter results reporting earnings of 13 cents per share. Analysts had estimated earnings of 12 cents per share but the company’s expenses grew faster than revenue and shares were down 9% in pre-market trading Thursday.

 

Questcor Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:QCOR)

The company said the FDA had for the second time extended their review of the infantile seizure treatment, Acthar, citing the need to finalize the wording on the label. Shares of the pharmaceutical company dipped 5.1% in pre-market trading.
