Shares jumped 19.5% in pre-market trading after the fingerprint identification system manufacturer announced it had agreed to be acquired by 3M for $10.50 per share.

Emmis Communications Corporation  (NASDAQ: EMMS)

JS Acquisition, Inc. announced it is extending its offer to purchase all outstanding shares of Emmis common stock for $2.40 per share in cash until 5:00 PM EST on Sept 2. Shares gained 8.8% in pre-market trading on the extension.

Genzyme Corp (NASDAQ: GENZ)

Shares of the biotechnology company gained another 4.2% in pre-market trading following its rejection of an $18.5 billion acquisition bid by French drug company Sanofi-Aventis.

Ceragon Networks Ltd. (NASDAQ: CRNT)

The manufacturer of wireless backhaul networks announced it received new orders for its FibeAir platforms from a leading Indian operator sending shares up 3.7% in pre-market trading.

SunPower Corp. (NASDAQ: SPWRA)

Shares gained 2.1% in pre-market trading following the announcement that the company was selected to provide solar technology for multiple government facilities.

DG FastChannel Inc. (NASDAQ: DGIT)

The digital content delivery company lowered its earnings guidance for the rest of the year and announced a $30 million stock buy-back. Shares fell 18.5% in pre-market trading.
