Stock futures were pointing to a higher opening ahead of manufacturing and construction spending data due out later this morning. 

Here are some early-market movers for Monday. 

Administaff Inc (NYSE: ASF)

Shares were up 8.6% in pre-market trading after the personnel management company posted second-quarter results reporting earnings of 20 cents per share on revenue of $412.4 million. Analysts had estimated earnings of ten cents per share and revenue of $412.17 million. 

Geron Corp.  (NASDAQ: GERN) 

Shares of the biopharmaceutical company continue to gain climbing 7.3% in pre-market trading following Friday’s announcement that the FDA had lifted its hold on a trial of the company’s stem cell treatment. 

Humana Inc (NYSE: HUM) 

The health benefits provider released second-quarter results beating the Street reporting earnings of $2.00 per share on revenue of $8.65 billion. Analysts had estimated earnings of $1.67 per share and revenue of $8.6 billion. Shares gained 4.8% in pre-market trading. 

Oshkosh Corp (NYSE: OSK)

The specialty vehicle manufacturer posted third-quarter results beating estimates reporting earnings of $2.31 per share on revenue of $2.44 billion. The Street had been expecting earnings of $1.92 per share and revenue of $2.3 billion. Shares gained 4.8% in pre-market trading. 

Boyd Gaming (NYSE: BYD) 

Shares climbed 4% in pre-market trading after analysts at Jeffries raised their rating to “hold” from “underperform” following the company’s announcement it would no longer pursue acquisition efforts for Station Casinos. 

Arena Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ARNA) 

Shares slipped 3.7% in pre-market trading after analysts at JP Morgan cut their rating to “neutral” from “overweight.”
