August 1, 2010 – SEOUL, Aug 1 (Reuters) - South Korea's exports to China and the United States in the first 20 days of July were higher than the same period in June, the government said Sunday.
The country's exports to the United States for the first 20 days of July rose 49.3 percent over the same period a year ago compared with a 24.2 percent gain in the June 1-20 period, Ministry of Knowledge Economy data showed.
Exports to China, the country's biggest market, grew 36.8 percent for the July 1-20 period over a year earlier versus a 25.3 percent annual gain in the first 20 days of June, it said in a statement. (Reporting by Cheon Jong-woo; Editing by Jonathan Thatcher)
