FedEx (FDX) revealed quarterly results that widely missed Wall Street's estimates. The shipping giant said "unusually severe winter storms … disrupted operations" and weighed on shipping volumes. The shares are modestly lower in somewhat volatile action.

Toyota (TM) is reportedly set to settle charges from the U.S. government stemming from an acceleration issue on a subset of its vehicles for $1 billion.

Adobe Systems (ADBE) posted a solid quarterly beat. Shares of the maker of creative software like Photoshop are climbing about 1%.
