Bill Ackman's Pershing Square, which has been on a crusade against Herbalife (HLF), is set to allege the nutrition company is operating in violation of Chinese law. He is expected to reiterate his view that the firm is a "pyramid scheme," according to a press release. Ackman's Herbalife short has been one of the hedge fund's worst bets thus far.
Bitcoin doesn't trade on any major U.S. exchange, but the embattled cryptocurrency is worth keeping an eye on. Mt. Gox, which had been the largest exchange, filed for bankruptcy protection and said it lost nearly half-a-billion dollars in customer funds.
