Delta Air Lines [DAL]

Delta Air Lines shares are flying higher in early trading after the airline posted a surge in fourth-quarter profits.

Gap [GPS]

Gap shares are zipping to the upside in pre-market action after analysts at Sterne Agee lifted their rating on the apparel maker to 'buy' from 'underperform.'

Gold

It's not a stock, but Gold is taking a 1% hit in early trading as the U.S. dollar advances as investors speculate the Federal Reserve will continue paring back its bond-buying program. The precious metal can be accessed via exchange-traded funds, like the popular SPDR Gold Trust [GLD].
