Shares of SolarCity Corp. turned higher on Wednesday, shaking off early weakness. Shares were recently up 5.1% after ending 18% higher on Tuesday, their best close since early April. The stock has advanced nearly 30% so far this week. SolarCity on Tuesday said it was buying Silevo Inc., a maker of high-efficiency solar panels. The company's foray into PV manufacturing was well received by Wall Street, with several analysts pointing out that while the move is not without risks it gives SolarCity a likely price advantage over competitors and a steady supply of efficient PV cells.
