April 1, 2011 – (Reuters) - Plane maker Boeing Co <BA.N> said on Friday it had confirmed an order for 15 next generation 737s with Turkish Airlines. The order would be worth more than $1.2 billion, on the basis of the average list price of the planes.
Boeing said the order comprised of 10 737-800s and five 737-900ERs.
Boeing has so far received orders from 14 customers for a total of 305 737-900ERs, the newest member of the 737 family.
