FBN Picks Up Second Season of Hit New Show ‘Strange Inheritance’

FOX Business Network (FBN) has picked up a second season of the hit new primetime program Strange Inheritance, announced Bill Shine, senior executive vice president of FBN and FOX News Channel (FNC).

In making the announcement, Shine said, “Whether a family business or a forgotten heirloom, viewers have really responded to the compelling and financially surprising stories of Strange Inheritance. We’re excited to bring the program back for a second season.”

Hosted by Jamie Colby, the first season debuted on January 26th and was the highest rated show launch in network history. Appearing on Mondays at 9PM ET/PT, each of the 26 half-hour episodes explores unusual circumstances of inheritance from across the country. Season two will showcase an additional 26 episodes and begin filming later this year.

Colby added, “This has been the most rewarding experience in my career and I can’t wait to get back out on the road for season two.”

The series is produced FBN’s director of special programing Brian Gaffney along with Jonathan Towers, founder and senior executive producer of Towers Productions, LLC. Towers has worked on a number of prominent reality-based series, including: A&E’s American Justice, National Geographic’s Inside 9/11 and History Channel’s Gangland.
