Health Care Flat as Deal Activity Continues -- Health Care Roundup

Shares of health-care companies were more or less flat as deal activity continued. Shares of hospice and nursing concern Kindred Healthcare agreed to a buyout from insurance giant Humana and two private-equity firms in a deal worth $9 a share, or about $783.2 million. Hospital chain Tenet Healthcare said it was exploring the sale of its Conifer Health Solutions unit.
