BEIJING – Foreign direct investment in China grew 5% from a year earlier to 60.12 billion yuan ($9.04 billion) in October, Commerce Ministry data showed Tuesday.

In September, China's FDI grew 17.3% from the previous year.
China attracted 678.7 billion yuan of FDI in the January-October period, up 1.9% from a year ago, data showed.
