Just Graduated? Move to Pennsylvania

According to a new report from Trulia and LinkedIn (LNKD), three of the top ten cities for recent graduates are in Pennsylvania. For recent graduates, it's about balancing strong wages with affordable housing and job availability.

In fact, Pittsburgh ranks as the number city for recent graduates, followed by Montgomery-Bucks-Chester County in sixth and Philadelphia in eighth. 

Pittsburgh has the highest ranking as Trulia found that over 5% of its population is recent graduates, and approximately 92% of its housing stock is affordable for young workers. As well, LinkedIn found that it has a wealth of job opportunities for recent grads. 

Both Montgomery-Bucks-Chester County and Philadelphia have large stockpiles of affordable housing (83% and 91% respectively) along with roughly 5% of their populations being recent grads.
