The campaign, part of the SBA’s Federal and State Technology (FAST) program, will award grants to state and local economic development agencies and universities.

Each recipient can receive up to $100,000 in funding. The application period will be open until April 11 and each state and U.S. territory can submit only one proposal. Proposals can be submitted here.

These organizations can use the grants to fund outreach and programs focused on tech-centric small businesses. Such programs may help facilitate the transfer of technology from universities to small businesses or the commercialization of technology developed through other government grant programs, according to the SBA.
