Tweet Business of the Day: toolhangerz

Who: Jim Browning, 58, @toolhangerz

What: Custom-designed tool holders and hangers for tools.

Where: Cincinnati, Ohio

How: After being let go due to downsizing at the international tool company where he worked, Browning said he decided to take his experience from that job, of making holders for tools to be displayed at retailers like Lowes and Home Depot, and put it into a new business venture. He began researching the industry and found such displays are not available to the general public.

"Most of them are designed in-house, for specific tools and aren't offered to customers," he said.

In his own words: "(toolhangerz) are universal, and can work with any tool brand," he said.
