CHECKERS - the largest chain of double drive-thru restaurants in the U.S.
*Plans to add another 450 jobs by end of 2012
*Will open 28 more restaurants by end of 2012, 18 in next three months. Will also open 45 total in 2013. New restaurants/franchisees in PA, MA, NY, MD, MI, IL, FL, GA, OH
*Top Jobs: Team Members (earn minimum wage pending experience), Shift Managers ($9-11 p/h), Assistant Managers ($15 p/h), General Managers ($40k-45k annually)
*Only salaried positions get full benefits, but Checkers does offer an hourly health plan

CHILDREN’S LIGHTHOUSE- a values-based educational child-care system for ages 6 weeks-12 years in the U.S.
*Will hire roughly 400 new employees in the next year

*Currently has 32 centers open and 28 in development (each center hires approximately 20 people). Planning to open 100 new learning centers nationwide during the next five years

PARTY CITY - the largest specialty party retailer and premiere Halloween destination in North America
*Will hire an additional 20,000 employees nationwide for the Halloween season.
*Most openings are for temporary, entry level, with management positions available in some markets. However at the end of the season company will offer about 10% of temps a permanent position.
*Party City began holding job fairs in late August and will continue the seasonal hiring campaign until about two weeks prior to Halloween. However hiring will continue until the day of Halloween.
*Offers permanent, full-time associates benefit packages
*Has more than 750 company-owned and franchised locations throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.
ANAGO (Anne-A-Go) - commercial cleaning franchise system founded by two military veterans
*Currently has 187 openings. Plans to hire at least 100 military veterans plus 200 additional employees by the end of the year.
*Top Jobs: Regional Director, Sales Manager, Office Manager, Telemarketers, Master Territory Franchisee, Unit Franchisee
*Committed to helping returning vets. Plans to award Master Franchise opportunities to 20 vets in next 20 months (with either $25k or $8k discounts) & created a $250k fund to help more vets get into business
*Wage range goes from minimum wage to $50,000 and offers benefits packages
*Currently has more than 2,200 locations and is hiring throughout the U.S. in more than 31 states

FIRSTLIGHT HOMECARE – provider of non-medical, in-home care services dealing specifically with seniors and people with disabilities as well as care programs for returning military veterans
*Expected to hire 60-80 new employees in the next 4-6 weeks as they open 6 new locations. (each location will hire 8-10 employees, plus hiring at already-open locations)
