Irena Briganti serves as the Group Senior Vice President of Media Relations for FOX Business Network (FBN) and FOX News.
Briganti is involved in strategic planning of communications initiatives across all network properties of FOX News and FOX Business, reporting to Brian Lewis, Executive Vice President of Corporate Communications for FOX News and FOX Television Stations. She directs daily publicity for both networks, manages media strategies and communications initiatives across all network properties, and handles crisis communications efforts.
She has been with the 24-hour news channel throughout its entire existence, beginning her career at FOX News as a Media Relations Coordinator for the network prior to its launch in October 1996. Briganti subsequently served in the positions of Publicist, Manager, Director, Senior Director, Vice President, and Senior Vice President of Media Relations.
She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University at Albany, State University of New York, receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. She also received a Master's of Science in Strategic Communications at Columbia University.
