Does the FOX Business iPad application cost anything?
FOX Business does not charge for the application. Please note that in the absence of a Wi-Fi connection, the FOX Business iPad application may use your iPad’s cellular network connection to access and download content. Please check with your carrier to see if you will be charged for usage.
Can I watch FOX Business Network on the application?
At this time, streaming FOX Business Network is not available. However, you can watch FOXBusiness.com Live from 12-1PM ET. On-demand video clips including the “FOX Business Minute” are also available.
How do I add a stock to My Money?
To search for a stock enter the symbol or company name into the stock search box at the top left corner of the app. Press the “+” icon next to the search results to add that stock to your portfolio. Alternately, on the My Money page, tap “Edit” and then the green “+” icon to enter stock symbols and add them to your portfolio.
How do I calculate the value of my portfolio?
Tap the “Positions” button on the “Edit” menu. For each stock there is a “pencil” icon on the right side. Tap this icon for each stock to add the number of shares you’ve invested and see the total value of your portfolio at the bottom of the column. You can also track the performance of your portfolio against major indices by pressing the “Compare” button and tapping your “My Money” portfolio and up to three other stocks or indices.
How do I delete a stock from My Money?
To remove a stock from your portfolio, simply tap the “Edit” button on the My Money page. Then tap the red “-” icon to the left of the stock. A delete button will slide out on the right-hand side of the page; tap this button to delete the stock from My Money.
How do I set up a Stock Alert?
You may set up stock alerts for the stocks you are tracking in My Money. On the My Money page select the bell icon next to the stock price to access the Push Notification settings page. Tap “ON” and then set a High and/or a Low stock price to be alerted when the selected stock exceeds or drops below these values. Tap “Alert Type” to set whether you will receive a badge or alert notification when the stock hits these values. Then, tap the “Update” button to save your alert.
How do I cancel a stock alert?
To cancel a stock alert, tap “OFF” on the Push Notification settings page. Save your changes by selecting the “Update” button on the top right corner of the screen.
How many stocks and stock alerts can I add to My Money?
A maximum of 20 stocks may be added to your My Money portfolio. For each of these stocks, you may set stock alerts.
What is the Channel Finder and how does it work?
Use the Channel Finder to find FOX Business Network in your area. Tap the Channel Finder button along the navigation bar at the bottom of the app, then enter your zip code in the search box or select the “target” icon to the left of the search box for a list of the FOX Business Network channels in your area.
